Many of you have emailed me to either express concern or excitement about the new season of Extreme Couponing. I am saddened to see the first episode will feature a lady that is a self proclaimed “shelf clearer” and is portraying couponers as disrespectful, ruthless shoppers. Well, my thoughts are, I realize that this is “Extreme Couponing” and although it is considered a reality show I don’t believe that this is based on true reality and is more unrealistic. As a dedicated couponer/blogger I hope that my videoes and blog entries motivate and inspire you to use coupons so that the money you do make will stretch the farthest it possibly can and we can all live a relatively comfortable life. Going to the grocery store and clearing the shelf with an attitude makes for great TV…. I get it, but it not how I want couponing and couponers to be portrayed.
