I read about little Avery on her blog the other day and just couldn’t stop thinking about her. Avery is only 5 months old and has been diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), an incurable genetic disease. Doctor’s are only giving her about 18 months to live. In order to help spread the word about SMA and to enjoy every minute with their baby, Avery’s parents chronicle her “bucket list” experiences through on a blog. They write the “Avery Can Blog” from their daughter’s point of view and she sates on there that, “Before I die, there’s a few things I’d like to accomplish…this is my bucket list and my story.”
