Love the video, I’m glad you did this. I really need to organize mine. I don’t have much time, so I think I’m going with the filing of the coupons. Seems simple.

Where did you get your binder? I like it!

Thanks Grace! I got it at Walmart. If you can’t find the baseball card sleeves I found them at Target.

Great video! Here’s a tip for your binder — put colored cardstock or construction paper in the baseball card slots, so that you can use both the front and back sides! If anyone is interested in a deluxe, already assembled binder, head on over to!

Great video. Very helpful. I am just in the process of moving over to the binder system. I was spending too much time trying to find the right coupon. I found a great binder at Walmart that has an accordian file inside of it and also a pocket on the outside. Love it! I also found some great 4×6 photo inserts that I use to hold my coupons that I print from the computer. Also wanted to tell you, I love your coupon match ups. So helpful. I use a binder clip for each store and prepare for the weak. Then I put those in a little pencil pouch inside my binder to bring to the store. Helping me to get in and out much faster. Thanks again.

Love all the info! I’ve grown accustomed to using a small 4X6 photo book 🙂 It works great for me! Its organized in sections like baby goods, home goods, dog goods, personal care, dairy, beverages, and etc. Each section has subcategories in each page of the photo book like diapers, wipes, baby food, baby care, and etc…I usually organize by expiration in each sleeve. There are 50 sleeves and I’ve only used about half as I’m just becoming a couponista! I have reusable binder tabs marking each main category. It seems to work for me and it fits in my purse or diaper bag.

I use the three ring binder but I do it in alphabetical catergories. I put items by there brand name. It makes it quicker and easier to find an item in a sales paper when you can go straight to the letter it begins with.

Does of take you a lot of time to organize by expiration? I use binder method and it always seems to take me lots of time to clear out my unused/expired coupons.. :/

I use the binder method with the different categories as well! I also organize them by experation date, so I can take out the expired ones easily. I also use different sized coupon holders becuase I was having a hard time seeing the whole coupon with just the 9 pocket kind. They only down side I’ve found to the bider is that it is kind of bulky to bring into the store.. other the that it is super easy to find the coupons I’m looking for, and organize!
