Aquatica by Seaworld Reviews

Feeling the Orlando Heat?  This Spring Break we switched it up a little bit and decided to go to the water park Aquatica, which is owned be Seaworld. I must say this is a hidden gem amongst all the theme parks of Orlando. I can’t wait to share my aquatica by seaworld reviews with you!

Aquatica by Seaworld Reviews. . .

The kid’s were excited to go, and the parents not so sure since the the weather was high 70’s to low 80’s. That being said the water was heated and i was actually warm and comfortable and had an absolute blast. We started off at Seaworld Aquatica Orlando with the Roa’s Rapids, this is set up like a lazy river but way cooler, the water is moving with a couple of islands setup in the middle of the river, there are some water spouts will drench you if your not watching out. Me and My daughter really liked the little jets in the river that kept the water moving, we would get in the jets and they would send us flying through the river, it was so much fun.

The one bummer thing about Orlando is that there is no beach. Seaworld Aquatica gives you exactly what you crave when you go to Florida, A BEACH. There is beautiful white sand beach that leads right up to the biggest wave pool you have ever seen. The kids absolutely loved it and it gave me that beach time that I must have when in Florida.

There are so many places to eat there and it gets a little overwhelming, but to get the most bang for your buck go to Banana Beach. This place offers an all day pass to dine, and it opens at 10:30am, so we eat breakfast lunch and dinner, well actually we ate when ever we got hungry, which is nice since I get such an appetite when swimming and it’s also nice not to have to think about were we’re gonna eat each time. The staff there were really accomadating as well, my son loves pasta but can’t stand any thing on the pasta, they have mac and cheese but no plain pasta, so the delightful staff went out of there way and made us more than enough plain pasta than we could eat. It was definately nice to have such attentive staff.

The pinnacle ride of this theme park is the Dolphin Plunge. This is by far one of the COOLEST experiences. This ride mixes a fast water slide with actual Commerson’s Dolphins. I never knew that these type of Dolphins existed. They actually look like baby killer whales with black and white markings and there are some wonderful photo ops you can get at the viewing tank with these beautiful animals. Another cool thing about this ride is that at the viewing tank you can see your family and friends go down the slide and through the dolphin tank. This is must do experience, not only the ride but the whole water park in itself.

So, now it’s now your turn! If you’ve been to Aquatica by Seaworld let us know about your experience. If you haven’t been, let us know what you think you would like about Aquatica!

Ooh that looks like SO much fun! We went to Sea World last year, but looks like we missed a load of fun at the water park!

I’ve been to Aquatica 2 times with the family and we absolutely love it. We will be going back down this summer again and it is in our plans to return again. We love the river with the jets that just push you through, it’s our favorite. We spend hours in there. I would definitely recommend.

We lived in Orlando when Aquatica was built but I was massively pregnant and on bed rest when it opened, then we moved! I hear the water slide that goes through the water is really cool. I would love to go there on our upcoming trip to Orlando, but with so much to do in Orlando (and THREE families to visit), we’ve already got a packed schedule.

I would absolutely LOVE to take my family to Aquatica. We have yet to make it to Florida at all, but are going in 2014 with my mom on her annual trip. We have a lot planned but I sure wouldn’t mind a day for this amazing park.

This is AWESOME and I have never heard of it before! I live in Michigan so we have beautiful beaches… in the summer but being water fanatics we spend all winter going from indoor water park to indoor water park. Our suits are faded by April from all the chlorine! Those fake whale looking dolphins are sweet too, and I love lazy rivers… what a fun day!
