We recently went on our first Disney Cruise Line Cruise – so fun! – and we participated in the Fish Extender Group! It was so fun (not only for the kids) to come back to our cabin each day and see what goodies awaited us! One of my favorite gifts to give is the DIY Magnetic Clip Board. It’s perfect to give as a Fish Extender gift AND it’s also a great gift to give to your kiddos friends. There’s so many options of designed paper. This would also be a perfect Back to School Gift!
What you need:
- Clip Board
- Acrylic Paint
- Sponge Paint Brush
- Paper or even left over wallpaper – any design you choose
- Mod Podgeand brush
- Large stick on Magnet
How to make your DIY Magnetic Clip Board:
First: Paint your clipboard with your sponge brush and let dry.
Then
cut out paper to size you would like on clip board.Brush a thin, even layer of Mod Podge glue onto clipboard with a brush. Place paper on andsmooth out air bubbles. Then apply a layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper.
Last Add your magnetic strip on the back. You don’t have to do this, but it’s nice to be able to hang this clip board on your fridge! Kids would love to hand them in their room or even in their locker!
