This Easy Beef Broccoli Crock Pot Recipe got a HUGE 2 thumbs up from my family, so I had to share with my Super Coupon Lady Family! 😉
Easy Beef Broccoli Crock Pot Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 pound boneless beef chuck roast, sliced into thin strips
1 tsp of Better Than Bouillon Vegetable Base OR 1 Beef Bouillon cube
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cooled sauce from the crock pot after being cooked
Fresh broccoli florets (I used one bunch)
Hot cooked rice
Directions:
1. Put your Beef in the crock pot first
2. Dissolve 1 tsp of Better Than Bouillon Vegetable Base OR 1 Beef Bouillon cube in 8oz of hot water
3. In a small bowl, combine bouillon from step #2, soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, and garlic. Pour over beef.
4. Set your crock pot to cook on low for 6 hours
5. During last 30 minutes of cooking, Mix cornstarch and water until smooth and add to crock pot, stirring well. This will help thicken it up a little bit
6. THEN Add broccoli to the crock pot. Stir to combine.
7. Cover and cook an additional 30 minutes on high (the sauce has to boil for it to thicken).
8. Serve over hot cooked rice.
Makes approximately 4 servings!
