Don’t you just LOVE how your house smells when you make chili?! I am going to share my family’s favorite Crockpot Chili Recipe, and it’s so easy! This is great to make if you are having the gang over to watch the game, you need to bring something to a party or just to have with your family on a cool night!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (14 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (15oz) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15oz) can black beans, rinsed and drained
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup water
DIRECTIONS:
Cook ground beef in heavy skillet until brown and drain. Put all the ingredients above (except cornstarch and water) in your crock pot and give a good stir. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours. During last 15 minutes of cooking, Mix cornstarch and water until smooth and add to chili, stirring well. Add to chili, this will help thicken it up a little bit. ENJOY!
This will make about 8 servings! If you like your chili hotter, add some jalapenos and another tsp of chili powder, you might be calling the fire department it will be so hot! LOL!
While I was making Chili, we had a huge discussion on the Super Coupon Lady Facebook page about dented cans.

Awesome! I hope you love it as much as we do! ENJOY! 🙂
We are having cheese with salsa with chips, fried shrimp, corn on the cob, and mac & cheese that is what the kids love lol
I’m making this tomorrow!!! Buyah bitches!
Can we cook this on high for 4 hours instead of low for 8?
I think I am going to do 4 hours on high.
I just made this and it tastes great! So easy, but I also used chili ready tomato and added a roasted garlic and green pepper blend. Crockpot recipes are the best!!
I’ve made this several times now. This last time I made it I forgot about the cornstarch and it was still great!
