Seaworld Orlando Review

SeaWorld Orlando Review

Our family was able to experience SeaWorld for the first time this Spring, and what an experience it was!  There were rides, shows, interactive experiences with the animals, and staff taking pictures of it all so that you could take home the memories. We had such a fabulous time, here’s our Seaworld Orlando Review!

SeaWorld orlando review

The rides at SeaWorld are wonderful, because no matter what age you are or what level of excitement you can handle there is a ride for you. Our children that were 5 and 7 years old were obviously not ready for Manta rollercoaster which glides you through the air like stingray at the pace of a rocket ship!! , but we did do the Shamu Express roller coaster which was more our speed and got some of the funniest pictures that will definitely be a life long memory, it was hilarious to see how different the girls and guys in our family are when it comes to thrill rides, lol!! No matter what age you are there are the Flamingo paddle boats that let you just sit and take in the whole theme park. What ever your taste is for rides there is something for you.

The shows that SeaWorld has to offer will definitely not disappoint. The main show they have is One Ocean that features their fleet of Orca Whales that do some of the most amazing tricks and aerobatic stunts. If you feel like getting wet just sit in the front section and you will get some relief from the Orlando heat but you might want to bring a change of clothes, we on the other hand opted to sit in the upper section since the high that day was 72 degrees. I must admit one of our favorite shows was the Clyde and Seamore seal show, this show has some great comedy that had us all laughing, as well as some amazing tricks done by Clyde, Seamore, and the staff. I must say the animals and staff do an absolutely superb job to entertain.

TIP for Clyde and Seamore Seal Show: You will want to get a seat near the aisle on the stage right. You will get up close and personal with one of the seals right at the start of the show.

There are so many opportunities to interact with the animals which our kids absolutely loved. Sea World actually gives you a chance to feed live dolphins, Seals, Sting Rays!

TIP for Dolphin Feeding:  Go to the 1st show in the morning and get in line 30 minutes early, this is the least crowded show and gives you more opportunity with the dolphins.

Another really cool interaction is eating with Shamu. This is a chance to eat poolside with Shamu and there many Orca whales and get to watch them play with each other in a more relaxed setting. I think it was well worth the money to eat Shamu because we got some really neat pictures and the kids haven’t stopped talking about it.

TIP for Eating with Shamu:  Make sure to go to eat after the One Ocean show is over because otherwise you will be eating poolside while the Orcas are out doing there show. Plus right before they go out to do a show you will get to see them close up!

All in all I must say this is a trip that we as a family thoroughly enjoyed. The cool thing about SeaWorld is no matter whether your children are toddlers or teenagers it is so much fun, because the range of things to do fits all age levels.

When in Orlando definitely remember to check out SeaWorld! Have you been to SeaWorld, let us know about your experiences!

We LOVE Sea World. When we lived in Florida we used to go for birthdays instead of having birthday parties. That Shamu Express coaster looks like a lot of fun!
